A dinner party built around the hour after sunset.
For forty friends gathered on the longest evening of the year, we made the table feel discovered rather than decorated: fruit, stone, taper light and linen with a lived-in softness.

The response
Slow, low, and a little wild.
We kept the palette close to the landscape—fig, cream, smoke and the first deep blue of night. The central arrangement ran low enough for conversation, leaving the room to do what it came to do: linger.
